Currently, LC-NCR employs over 30 staff in a variety of opportunities. Over 50% of LC-NCR's employees live with in within the District of Columbia. In 2007, LC-NCR's budget of $1.0 million is comprised of salaries and expenses, many of which go back into the local DC economy.

Another component of LC-NCR's programming is to help build the entrepreneurial spirit within the youth of our community. LC-NCR has plans to operate local retail centers that will provide employment opportunities for community members while also providing an alternative revenue stream for LC-NCR's programs.
