The Yards
LC-NCR in partnership with Forest City Washington will construct an education center along the river’s edge in Southeast DC. Just blocks away from the home of the Washington Nationals at the The Yards. This site was formerly known as the Southeast Federal Center before control was given to Forest City Washington.
Currently, LC-NCR is coordinating efforts with Forest City Washington and STUDIOS Architecture so that the design phase of this project can get underway. After design is completed LC-NCR will undertake its first capital fundraising initiative to create the anchor site for Living Classrooms and community based programs.
